Hello everyone. After this period of hollidays, a little short for my taste, I take
back our blog for the week.
I'm going to explain the managing assistant's job to you.
She deals with welcoming, she up dates files and folders.
She ought to see what is important or not !
She organise and assist boards operators, meetings, and afterwards, she writes down the review.
She ought to know Word processor and Excel.
The managing assistant deals with mails and e.mails.
She is the chairman executive officer's trust worthy person.
She does her best to transmit all informations necessary for the company's staff.
She is responsible for all she does.
She deals with a lot of administrative things.
She handles the phone like a switchboard operator.
She organise and plans her boss' reservation schedule for his appointments and meeting. Her manager ought to be aware that she is her confident person.
The managing assistant always smiles and always wears smart clothes because a nice presentation is very important in this job.
She is the link between the outside world and the CEO of the company, and she is the interface too, between suppliers, staff, bankman, customers....
She deals also with accountancy, but it isn't her priority.
She deals with sales and purchases too, and must knows all procedures'company.
She has to be personaly delicated. She learnt discretion, and mostly works in her office.
SHE HEARS EVERYTHINGS, SEES EVERYTHINGS, YET, SHE SAYS THE LAST.
Key in the words of Damaris' article
(For me, the most sensitive keywords for an executive assistant are : The sense of Adaptation, Anticipation, Discretion and Reserve).
THE MANAGING ASSISTANT AS US IN A NEAR FUTURE !!!!
